Frequently Asked Questions

BATHROOMS

Can you offer advice on material suppliers?

Yes, absolutely. Think quality and aesthetics. Your bathroom is one of the most used rooms in your home and you'll probably want your renovation to last 15+ years, so choosing quality fixtures that will go the distance plus a fabulous tap or shower head can really add impact.

Will you project manage the job for me?

Yes,  absolutely.  We meet all trades on the job to discuss the proposed works including setouts. We prefer to meet the client as well as our tradesmen on site due to the possibility of last minute amendments. Not everyone has the ability to read and comprehend drawings so it is much easier to make final decisions onsite with the client present. Part of our service is the project management of the job from design to handover stage.

How long do Bathroom Renovations take?

If you’re overhauling a large master bathroom, complete with shower and/or bath features, and multiple sinks and counters, expect your renovation to take approximately 2 months. Smaller powder rooms will be completed within a slightly shorter time frame. The early selection of all materials will ensure a minimum project period.

KITCHENS & DETAILED JOINERY

How long do Kitchen, Laundry and Walk-in Wardrobe fit-outs take?

Kitchens will take approximately 6 weeks from the date of approval - subject of course to the availability of selected materials and the final design of the Kitchen layout. Laundries and Robes will generally take around 4 - 6 weeks from the date of approval.

Do you do design as part of your offering?

Yes. Identifying a design and budget whether it's a new Kitchen, Robe, Vanity, Entertainment Unit, Stairs, furniture etc. is the most critical stage of the entire project. Our design process keeps you involved throughout the entire design and costing process to ensure your new room is designed, delivered and completed on time and on budget.

Before you start the job do you offer a scope of work?

Yes, we provide a fully detailed Scope of Works that should be read in conjunction with our quotation and fabrication drawings. The scope will not only list the works we will be providing but it also nominates items of works to be completed / supplied by the client.

Can you provide fabrication drawings?

Yes. Any fabrication drawing is arguably one of the main advantages to good-quality structure. These drawings will detail the dimensions and configuration of all units. Final fabrication drawings will include floor plans, elevations and cupboard schedules.
