At North Shore Design & Joinery we offer a complete package of Design, Fabrication & Installation services from Design through to Completion.

North Shore Design & Joinery is a diversification of our existing construction company, Newcombe Constructions, with the aim of providing both existing and new customers with high-quality bespoke joinery.

We work actively with you, our clients, to ensure the best result for any brief.

Robert Newcombe

FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

Robert is a fully licenced builder who has worked in the industry since 1986. It was in 1999 that he developed an interest in the design and joinery side of construction works and incorporated the supply and installation of joinery into his construction company.

His extensive experience in residential alterations and additions, as well as new housing, complements the quality of the joinery works produced by North Shore Design & Joinery.

Shaun Martin

DESIGN DIRECTOR

Shaun is a fully qualified Carpenter / Joiner / Builder and has been working with Bob for over 20 years. He has shown incredible talent and interest in the joinery aspect of Newcombe Constructions.

Shaun has been the driving force behind the establishment of North Shore Design & Joinery and with his expertise and sharp eye for detail, you can be assured of a high quality finished product.

Our Process

Get In Touch

After our first conversation, we will arrange a meeting with you, so that we can develop an an understanding of your project and gather information about its purpose, size, surroundings and your aspirations, budget and tastes.

Concept Design

The Concept Design stage is a very creative part of the process. Beginning with a preliminary sketch to express your ideas and aims, we work with you to develop this into more definite drawings.

We assist with material selection and advise on best practices for the project.

Design Development

Once your have approved the Concept Design, we move on to more technical drawings in preparation for transforming this into its built form.

We provide samples and work with other trades and consultants to confirm key material decisions, for your final approval.

Fabricate & Install

As craftsmen of bespoke joinery and fixed furniture, we skillfully transition the approved design into its built form. Traditional hand tools and power equipment are employed in fabrication.

Only the finest finishes and hardware are used, specially selected by you or by our expert in-house team.

Finishes & Materials

We understand the importance of using high-quality materials, fittings and fixtures to achieve a premium finish. These are a few materials we often work with.

We are always open to working with your ideas and any materials you have in mind for your interior project.
